Wildcard Saturday Puts Up Big Ratings For NBC

Two Saturday NFL Wildcard games on NBC translates into a big ratings night for NBC.

The two NFL Wildcard games on NBC combined averaged nearly 31 million viewers, up 14% from last  year.  The early game of the doubleheader posted a rating of 16.0/30, up 11% from last year with  viewership peaking at 38.1 million between at round 7pm (CT). 

The nightcap saw a 19.1/ 31 rating, up 10% from last year with viewership peaking between 10pm & 10:23pm (CT)

In addition, the two playoff games saw a record of 33.9 million minutes worth of streaming on NBCsports.com, that is an increase of 122% from last year.
