Last night's BCS Championship Game bought to an end to the college football season and to an end of the BCS as well and the championship game generated big ratings.
ESPN's "Megacast" presentation of the title game averaged an overnight rating of 15.7 across multiple ESPN platforms and the ESPN-only telecast posted an overnight rating of 15.3. For all five of the BCS bowls, ESPN had an average rating of 9.9, up 10% from last year.
The "Megacast" offered a different viewing option of last night's game across multiple ESPN platforms featuring multiple on-air talent from ESPN along with guest coaches and players.
