The SportsBusiness Daily is reporting that the NFL could make an announcement in the coming days as to who will be the winning bidder in a new slate of televised Thursday NFL games.  All of the current TV partners, along with TNT all submitted bids.  The NFL wants a deal done quickly as the league will start drafting the 2014 NFL schedule.

NFC Championship Game Outrates The AFC

Last night's NFC Championship game on Fox Sports posted an overnight rating/share of 31.0/46 , it was an increase of 19% from the 2013 NFC Championship and defeats the AFC Championship game in when it comes to TV ratings.

AFC Championship Game Scores Big For CBS

Yesterday's AFC Championship game was the second most watched in 27 years.  The game between New England and Denver posted and overnight rating/share of 29.5/52.
