The 2014 Australian Open on ESPN is in the homestretch as the men's semifinals begin in the predawn hours of Friday and the first men's semifinal is an historic one.
For the 33rd time, Rafale Nadal and Roger Federer will square off in the second semifinal of the Australian Open with coverage beginning at 2:30am (CT) with an encore presentation tomorrow afternoon at 1pm (CT). The second semifinal is early Saturday morning. The winner will meet Stanilas Wawrinka in the championship.
In addition, ESPN will televise the women's championship beginning at 2am (CT) early Saturday morning and the men's championship will be televised early Sunday morning at 2am (CT) with a replay beginning at 9am (CT).
