NFL Conference Championship Games Average More Than 50 Million Viewers

The final numbers are in for combined viewership during the NFL's Championship Sunday and the numbers are impressive.

The two Conference Championship games on Sunday averaged 53.7 million viewers, which ties the 2011 championship games as the most watched in over 30 years.

The NFC Championship game averaged nearly 56 million viewers and ranks as the fifth most watched conference championship game in history while the AFC Championship game averaged just over 51 million viewers and ranks as the third most watched conference championship game on record.
