Despite not having the TV rights this year to the Super Bowl, that's not stopping the NBC family of networks from having an extensive presence in the days leading up to the Big Game and that coverage begins this weekend.
The NBC Sports Group will begin their Super Bowl broadcast coverage this Sunday at 6pm (CT) when Cris Collinsowrth will host a Sunday Night Football Special with a look back at the 2013 season. That will be followed with live coverage of the Pro Bowl at 6:30pm (CT).
NBCSN's coverage from New York begins on Monday with regularly scheduled shows including the TV simulcast of the Dan Patrick Show, SportsDash With Yahoo! Sports and Pro Football Talk. In addition, NBC Sports Radio will originate all of their shows from New York City as well.
