That was a short retirement for Tim McCarver. According to an article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, McCarver will soon join Fox Sports Midwest and be in the booth for 30 Cardnails telecasts during the upcoming MLB Season.
To
make room for McCarver, the radio voice of the Cardnails, Mike Shannon,
will reduce his workload by 50 road games and existing Fox Sports
Midwest analysts will fill the void, creating an opening in the TV
booth
