The final ratings are in for the BCS National Championship game and the ratings are historic.
The "MegaCast" that had unique video presentation of the game on several ESPN platforms posted a rating of 14.8 and over 26 million viewers making it the third largest cable audience in history. Just the main telecast on ESPN posted a rating of 1.4 and drew over 25.5 million viewers with an additional 773,000 viewers on the WatchESPN app.
No surprise that the top two rated programs on cable over the years were on ESPN and both were BCS National Championship games in 2011 and 2013.
