Over a full week into the 2014 Winter Olympics from Sochi Russia, the ratings juggernaut that is the tape delayed primetime telecast on NBC continues to roll on.
Last night's primetime broadcast averaged 2.13 million viewers and posted an over night rating/share of 12.1/19. These numbers more than doubles the combined primetime viewership on other broadcast networks.
NBCSN continues to generate a strong audience. Live coverage yesterday on NBCSN averaged 2.6 million viewers, more than tripling the comparable Sunday coverage from the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Following two weekends of comeptition, weekend daytime viewership is averaging 11.6 million vieers, the best weekend daytime coverage in 12 years.
