The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi continues to big ratings and big viewership numbers. Through Thursday, over 150 million Americans have watched the Winter Olympics on the NBC family of networks.
Thursday night's tape delayed primetime coverage on NBC posted an overnight ratingshare of 13.4/21 making it the seventh straight night that viewership exceed that of the last Winter Olympics to be held in Europe.
NBCSN continues its record breaking viewership streak as well. The cable sports network on Thursday averaged 1.4 million viewers. In addition, the U.S. men's hockey team victory on Thursday accounted for 6.9 million minutes of streaming on the NBC Sports Live Extra app.
