As the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia winds down, NBC's primetime tape delay coverage continues to win the night in ratings. Friday night's coverage on NBC posted an overnight rating/share of 9.4/16, which was 114% higher than the second most watched show of the night.
Meanwhile, as hockey fans who were stuck at work flocked to NBCOlympics.com for live streaming of yesterday's semi-final hockey game between Team USA and Canada, viewers on traditional TV helped make the broadcast the most watched hockey game in the history of NBCSN with an overnight rating of 3.4.
