With ESPN exiting NASCAR at the conclusion of the 2014, there has been speculation Allen Bestwick's role with ESPN once the NASCAR season has ended. Today, that speculation can be put to bed.
ESPN today announced that Bestwick will remain with ESPN and will become the lead voice of the Indy 500. In addition, Bestwick will assume a role of play-by-play college football telecasts and will call a variety of sports when the SEC Network launches later this Summer.
ESPN's 2014 NASCAR coverage gets underway this weekend at Daytona.
