NBC's primetime coverage of the 2014 Winter Olympics continued it's ratings dominance Saturday night. To the surprise of no one, Saturday's primetime viewership was the highest rated Saturday in four years. The last time Saturday night ratings were this high? The 2010 Winter Olympics.
Viewership Saturday night averaged 25.1 million viewers and posted an overnight rating/share of 13.9/24. In addition, viewers are flocking to NBCSN as well for their first ever telecast of the Winter Olympics with an average viewership of 2.6 million, more than doubling the opening Saturday of the 2010 London Summer Olympics. Saturday's NBCSN coverage had a peak viewership of the team figure skating competition with an average of 4.9 million viewers.
