Turner Goes Full Circle For The Final Four

Starting with the 2014 national semi-finals at the Final Four, Turner Sports is introducing a new concept that could have far reaching impacts in how we watch sports.

According to an article in the Sports Business Journal, Turner sports will have not one, but three broadcasts of each national semi-final game.  The main broadcast will be on TBS and TNT and TruTV will broadcast the same national semi- final games with announcers and camera angles that are customized for each team that is playing.

In addition, both networks will produce a team specific halftime report.  For more information on this concept, visit the Web Site linked above.

Could this be the wave of the future?  Imagine Fox with the Sunday NFL doubleheader with team specific broadcasts on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2.
