ESPN Is Bragging About Their College Football TV Ratings

As the college football season enters the final 3 weeks of the regular seasons, the ESPN family of networks enjoyed a great day from a ratings perspective.

This past Saturday's split national double header on ABC generated a 2.8 rating and averaged over 4.4 million viewers.  ESPN's 11am telecast of Ohio State's victory over Illinois averaged just under 2.9 million viewers and generated a rating of 2.1.

Through the first 12 weeks of the college football season, game telecasts across the ESPN family of networks are averaging more viewers than at the same point last year and you get get the details of those numbers at the Web Site linked above.
