ESPN is crowing about what we all know, the NFL is good for a ratings winner.
Last night's Monday Night Football telecast of Carolina hosting New England won the night among all networks, whether it be broadcast or cable. Monday Night Football last night generated an overnight rating of 9.9, averaging over 11.4 million viewers.
Through 11 weeks of the NFL season, Monday Night Football, despite less than attractive match ups is averaging a rating of 8.5 with nearly 9.8 million viewers.
