ESPN's expanded coverage of the NCAA wrestling championships has paid off to the tune of record viewership.
For the first time ever, all six sessions was televised live and the four telecasts on ESPNU and two on ESPN combined saw viewership of 8.6 million viewers, up 39% from last year. The over 20 hours worth of coverage averaged 253,000 viewers.
Enhanced coverage on ESPN3 saw nearly 13 million minutes with of streaming on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
