The 2014 MLB season begins in earnest this coming weekend and ESPN will kickoff it's 25 season of MLB telecasts in a big way.
Beginning with the Sunday Night MLB broadcast, the ESPN family of networks will televise 7 games the first few days of the season. The action begins Sunday night when San Diego hosts the Dodgers from Los Angeles with first pitch shortly after 7pm (CT) on ESPN.
Action continues on Monday with 5 games on ESPN or ESPN2 highlighted by the defending World Series Champions Boston traveling to Baltimore with first pitch just after 6pm (CT). From the Midwest, the Cubs and Cardnails are on ESPN's schedule for Monday, however, those telecasts are subject to blackout across Iowa on ESPN.
