It shouldn't come as a surprise when more and more people are using smartphones and tablets that usage turned into a banner year for ESPN Digital.
Throughout all of 2013, ESPN Digital ranked as No. 1 for all digital sports categories for minutes, visits and male unique visitors. A whopping 68.9 billion minutes with content from ESPN Digital and users visited ESPN proudcts and platforms more than 8 billion times.
Some of the highlights from the previous year include:
*an all time record of 72.7 million users in the month of September.
*3.2 billion video clips were watched on various ESPN platforms
*5.7 billion minutes of streaming on WatchESPN and ESPN3.
It's safe to assume that ESPN Digital will continue their domination in 2014.
