If you have spent anytime watching Fox Sports 1, i'm sure you have seen the promos touting the upstart sports network's coverage of America's Pastime this coming MLB season.
The new contract Fox Sports signed with MLB a couple of years ago increased the amount of games that Fox Sports can nationally televise from 26 to 52 games and Fox Sports recently announced its broadcast schedule for the 2014 MLB season and the majority of those games will be seen on Fox Sports, including 10 doubleheaders exclusive to Fox Sports 1 which will make its MLB debut on Saturday, April 5.
The majority of Fox Sports 1 telecasts will be Saturday games, however, there will be a handful of telecasts throughout the week. MLB will retain a presence on the Fox Broadcast network with an 8 week series of primetime telecasts that begin in late May.
