A Guide to NBC Olympics' Digital Coverage

With the Winter Olympics officially under way in Sochi and the Opening Ceremony taking place this morning, NBC has put out a press release with a guide to their extensive digital coverage of the Winter Olympics.

NBCOlympics.com will live stream over 1,000 hours of streaming to tablets, smart phones, and desktop computers, to compare this to last Winter Olympic games in 2010, NBCOlympics.com live streamed 400 hours.

The NBC Sports Live Extra app for the first time ever, will live stream all of the competition.  More than 1,000 hours of coverage will be available on the app and will include all 15 sports, all medal events and event rewinds.

Beginning tomorrow, NBCOlympics.com will launch a product called Gold Zone which will offer more than 100 hour's of whip around coverage of live action and will be available from 6am to 2pm (CT).
