The addition of the Turner owned cable channels of TBS, TNT, and TruTV to CBS Sports coverage of the NCAA Basketball tournament have allowed CBS to put up huge TV ratings and the trend continued on Saturday.
According to a press release from Turner Sports, viewership on Saturday was up 12% over CBS Sports coverage in 2010 and overall ratings for the tournament are up 18% from 2010.
Letting fans across the country determine what game they want to watch instead of network executives in New York City is certainly paying off in increased viewers.
