CBS Sports Network has announced the simulcast rights to New York City's WFAN radio morning show.
Beginning next month, CBS Sports Network will simulcast the Boomer and Carton morning show that is heard on WFAN out of New York, the grandfather of sports talk radio. Boomer and Carton is hosted by Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton and airs daily from 5am to 9am (CT).
Boomer and Carton discusses the New York sports scene and interviews with current and former sports icons along with celebrities from the entertainment industry.
No word on what will happen to the existing simulcast of the Tim Brando Show that airs from 8am to 11am (CT) on CBS Sports Network. However, I think that CBS Sports Network will air the final two hours of Brando's show live and then air the first hour as a tape delay following the conclusion of show, or they will join the show in progress at 9am (CT).
