ESPN's Long Roster Of College Basketball Broadcast Talent

The ESPN family of networks is set to televise a whopping 1,500 basketball games during the 2013-14 men's college basketball season.  With that many games, it's going to take alot of people to broadcast the games.


Earlier this week, ESPN released the "who's who" of talent in a five W's format (who, what, when, were, and why).  Beginning today and ending March 16, with the exception of 3 days (December 24 & 26 and January 3), there will be at least one game televised on an ESPN network during this time.

Some of the highlights include:

*Dick Vitale, in his 35th season on ESPN, will work with Dan Shulman will announce the Saturday primetime game.

*Brent Musburger, Fran Fraschilla will announce the Big 12 portion of Big Monday with sideline reports from Holly Rowe.

*Mike Tirico and Dan Dakich will call the Big Ten Super Tuesday game with Samantha Ponder providing interviews and reports from the sideline.

*Joe Tessitore and Sean Farnham return for the Big Ten Thursday Night Showcase game.
