The NBC Sports Group has announced they will U.S. Olympic TV Rights through the year 2020 in a deal that is worth more than four billion dollars.
NBC and their cable partners, including VERSUS and the regional Comcast SportsNet's will have exclusive TV rights to the 2014 Winter Olympics, 2016 Summer Olympics, 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The NBC Sports group beat out Fox Sports and Disney/ABC/ESPN for the U.S. Olympic TV rights.
