Despite some less than lackluster matchups, ESPN's Monday Night Football once again reigns supreme on cable TV.
For the 8th straight year, Monday Night Football was cable TV's most-watched series. During the 2013 NFL season, Monday Night Football drew 6 out cable TV's 10 biggest audiences. ESPN's 17 Monday Night Football telecasts averaged an overnight rating of 8.6 and just under 10 million households, which translates to over 13.6 million viewers, these ratings do not reflect those watching in a sports bar.
The 2013 season of Monday Night Football ranks as the third-highest rated and most watched season since ESPN took over Monday Night Football.
