One of the shortest off season in professional sports comes to an end tonight when the 2011-12 NHL season lifts the curtain for another season tonight with a doubleheader on VERSUS.
According to a Press Release from NBC, the defending Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins will kick of the season by hosting Philadelphia tonight at 6pm (CT) followed by Vancouver hosting Pittsburgh.
