NBC Universal returns to football this week with NFL Kickoff 2011 that begins at 6pm (CT) on a host of NBC owned cable outlets including VERSUS, USA, Syfy, G4, as well as NFL Network, due to President Obama’s address, NBC will join NFL Kickoff in progress, which has been extended to 90 minutes.
According to a Press Release from NBC, the President’s speck won’t conflict with coverage of the first NFL game of the 2011 season. NFL Kickoff will feature performances by Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum and Maroon 5. In addition, NFL Kickoff will feature a preview of the upcoming season by a host of NBC Sports commentators.
