HBO recently had an all access pass to chronicle Derek Jeter's run to 3,000 hits and with the milestone accomplished and work on the documentary complete, HBO will debut Derek Jeter 3K on July 28.
According to a Press Release from HBO, Derek Jeter 3K will take fans behind the scenes as Jeter was in pursuit of the milestone. With assistance from Major League Baseball, Jeter wore a mic the day he got his 3,000th hit and the documentary will include Jeter reflecting on his career, and footage of Jeter in his home and his recent rehab from an injury.
